  • I think I get to add new pictures now, so I will. Enjoy!  When I was at home, my grandmom and mom and I went to Cracker Barrel. It's like they know I'm from the south, and the only place they think I'll like is there. Meanwhile, we have one on every block here! But it was fun. This is Mom Mom and Mom waiting on the bench together while they're getting our table ready. Gotta love the tie-dye!!!!  This is my best friend from High School, Karen, and her daughter Madison. Karen had Gavin about 5 weeks before I got there, and he was in the hospital. Madison and her grandma and I went to see Karen and Gavin at the hospital. He's home now, praise God!  And this is Aunt Marianne sporting the Astro Van! I got to spend an evening with her, and her girls, and it was wonderful! She's always been soooo good to me!  This is Aunt Marianne's daughter, Leah, that we went to see at camp when I went to see Aunt Marianne at High Point.  And this is her twin sister, Colleen. Everything else preciously explained! Marianne is my stepmother's half sister, and her and I have always been close, and I have been close to her daughters....as much as someone I'm directly related to, and even more than some of my actual aunts and cousins. Very precious people!  And this is my sister, Kristin....she's growing up OH SO FAST!!!!  And my brother Steven, who just turned 12 TODAY. Happy Birthday, Steven!!!  And this is me with my Cathy Jackson at Geneva...did a little Alumni Visit and it was wonderful! Now, of course, this trip was weeks ago, but I have been to the beach for a week since and then housesitting for a week. Kids start school on the 25th, and if I still have picture space left, I'll put them on here. Be sure to check out my mySpace because I'm putting pics on there too. They don't care how many! Haha!

Love all of you! Be blessed!

  • I guess it would only be fair to do an actual update. I'll do the best I can in the next 15 minutes or so, then I need to get to bed. Then, I'm headed out of Pittsburgh to Ohio, and it'll be awhile till I get back. I am at Diane's right now. I came here Sunday evening, after stopping in Sutton to see my grandparent's graves and visit with my Aunt Claudine. Diane and Chuck and Chuck's daughter Cat were at the house when I got there and Chuck had dinner ready for me. He went to bed shortly after that, and Diane and Cat and I stayed up pretty late. Monday, Chuck went to work and the girls all went to lunch at Cracker Barrel, then to Barnes and Noble to look, and to get some frappuccino's, and then to WalMart so I could pick up some yarn. I'll have to be sure to take it with me tomorrow so that I have something to do. I thought I'd have much more done by now. I wanted to be finished with it by the time I reached NC. Hmmmm...we all hung out that night, and then again on Tuesday. We were at the house all day Tuesday. Heather called and brought over the kids. Those of you who know all of this well know that I raised Ariana from the time she was born until I gave her back when she was 14 months old. So, she's 4 now, and Heather brought her and her brother over to see me. She's growing up sooo very fast. Wednesday, Diane went to work, and I went to her work for lunch, and then went to Dr. Aiken's house to visit with her and Marti. She seems to be doing very well, and it was a nice visit. I told her I had wanted to find my Arts and Crafts professor, from Sophomore year, and it just so happened that she was the person Dr. Aiken got her Christmas Tree from every year, and she lived right down the road. So, I stopped by her house, and she wasn't home. I left a note in the door, and Thursday morning, she called to see if we could meet for lunch Friday in the AM. Thursday, Heather and the kids and I went to Diane's work again for lunch, and then I went to Joni's that afternoon. It was wonderful to see her after about 4 years of NO CONTACT. I'm glad I looked her up and found her online and called. I will be spending the day with her tomorrow also. Today, I woke up and met Mrs. Rosenberger in Ambridge for lunch, and that was sweet and special. Then I went to see Diane at work and headed to Hallmark to pick up a "Heart and Soul" Willow Tree for Joni when I see her tomorrow. I talked to my dad and have printed directions to Aunt Judy's. I'll be meeting him and the kids there tomorrow when I leave from Joni's. It's about 3 hours to her house from Zeli. The directions seem a bit intense...I'm hoping they aren't as bad as they look because I'll give Diane her phone back tomorrow when I leave. I have to be up early tomorrow morning, as compared to every day this week when I didn't wake up until after 11 or so, and that'll be a change! It's worth it for some Joni time though. Who knows when I'll be able to have that again. I hope that everyone is doing well, and when I get back from Ohio, I'll be sure to post some trip updates. Have a blessed and safe weekend!
